Sotira Redesign

In Spring 2023, I worked as a Product Management Intern for Sotira. I worked primarily on their pricing calculator feature, focusing on tailoring the product towards e-commerce businesses to improve retention and usability. Throughout this process, I conducted thorough user research to create the most accurate human-centered design.

My Responsibilities

1. User Research: Conducted user research on 30+ businesses and retailers on their experiences with the Sotira app. Led guided walkthroughs of app and recorded and tracked responses using Dovetail.

2. User Synthesis: Synthesized 10+ user interviews to create user personas. Recorded pain points, interests, notes, and other interview variables to influence redesign of app.

3. Wireframe Prototyping: Created rough wireframes of a redesigned pricing calculator using the insights from my user research and synthesis. Final design shown above.

4. Formula Synthesis: Created pricing formulas for the backend team to calculate common business insights (profit margins, wage per hour, ect).
