Daily UI Challenge 6 - User Profile

Thanks to the #dailyui challenge, I designed a User Profile (challenge 6) for a fitness app that is mostly targeting a female and non-binary audience.

The main goal here is to show the user their weekly progress through a graph, but also some personal data that encourages them to interact more with the app, by showing up their percentage of progression in comparison to the week before.

Their coach’s name will also appear here, and if they click on their profile, they could see more information about this specific coach. They could also ask to change coach, but that is not encouraged in the app, so the feature is not overly highlighted.

I also decided to put the user’s most practiced exercices, so that they can adapt their routine accordingly.

To give a sense of confidence to this mostly female audience, I choose to use a dark pink as the brand color, with citrus yellow and baby blue as secondary colors. I myself started going to the gym 4 months ago and I still remember the apprehension I felt when I sat on a machine for the first time! So I wanted the colors to be welcoming, bright and playful.

I also choose Olivera as the main typography, to give a sense of elegance and femininity.

Remember, working out is good for your health, regardless of gender and age 💪

See you next time!
