EB Garamond Type Specimen

In this project, students were randomly assigned a typeface to research, analyse and experiment with. I learnt about the origin of EB Garamond and explored its applications through this type specimen. We were limited to use one print colour excluding the paper stock to narrow the viewer's focus on the qualities of the characters. Since EB Garamond is deeply rooted in history, I chose beige to mimic aged paper and be the vessel for this timeless typeface.
