    RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) Application

    I developed a Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) application using Java with a graphical user interface (GUI) to enhance workplace ergonomics and comfort within industrial settings. The application is designed to help businesses assess and improve the ergonomic conditions of their work environments.

    Project Highlights:

    • Development Environment: The application was built using NetBeans 8.2 and JDK 1.8, ensuring compatibility with widely used Java development tools.

    • Database Integration: A MySQL database, managed through XAMPP, is utilized to store and retrieve assessment data efficiently. The database setup is simplified for users, with an importable SQL file provided within the source code.

    • User Interface: The first interface launched in the application is Form01_Home_Early.form, providing users with an intuitive entry point to begin their assessments.

    • Customization: The application uses the Poppins font to maintain a consistent and modern UI aesthetic, with the necessary font files included in the project.

    Setup Requirements:

    This project demonstrates my ability to create ergonomic assessment tools that contribute to improved working conditions. The application is fully functional and ready to be integrated into workplace environments to facilitate better ergonomic practices.
