I'm John a senior product designer for Sweatcoin; an app which rewards your daily steps with a new-generation currency you can spend on products, use to enter prize draws or donate to charity.

So what was the brief?

The brief was to design a V2 of Sweatcoin: for health.

Sweatcoin for health is a programme where Sweatcoin collaborates with health providers to offer diabetes prevention plans which provide education and step challenges to patients who can win rewards for taking better care of their health.

The initial pilot scheme

The V1 of Sweatcoin for health was tested as a pilot scheme in London as a partnership with the NHS.

The V2 of Sweatcoin for health included partnerships with private health and wellness providers like Xyla Health & Wellbeing.

I redesigned the partnership website which is the entry point for Xyla patients to scan a QR code or tap to download the Sweatcoin for healthcare & Xyla colab version of the App featuring content only available to Xyla patients.

Xyla patients required a unique ID to login to their account which was sent to them via a newly designed more easily accessible email.
