Early Hour Entertainment Talent Agency Landing Page
When a friend shared his plans for a new venture called Early Hour Entertainment and mentioned he was thinking about his company website, I felt inspired to dive in and create a UI practice as a passion project. Using just his company logo and some research into the entertainment industry, I designed a landing page concept that embodies what I envision Early Hour Entertainment represents—authenticity, growth, and artist empowerment. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
UI Exploration and Theme Development
Focusing on UI, I dug into what makes talent agency websites tick. I looked at common design elements like clean navigation and eye-catching talent profiles, paying special attention to subtle trends that make the user experience smooth and enjoyable. After checking out competitors and similar companies like Patreon, I came up with three cool themes for the site:
Vintage: Think neutral base colors with sun-washed oranges for a warm, nostalgic vibe.
Modern: Clean whites and greys mixed with sleek steel blues for a crisp, contemporary feel.
Pop: Dark backgrounds paired with bold, neon colors like acid greens and highlight yellows for a fun, energetic look.
Blending Research into Cohesive UX Design
I combined elements from all three themes I created, incorporating a user-friendly layout with a clean, modern design and vibrant pop colors. Throughout the process, I ensured the language was inclusive and engaging—welcoming new clients while staying meaningful and respectful to Early Hour Entertainments' existing ones.
Figma to Framer
I took the designs from Figma and brought them to life in Framer. Along the way, I fine-tuned the specs, built out components, added some cool effects and interactions, and made sure everything looked great on tablets and mobile devices too.
Enhancing Research for Client Success
If this were an actual client project, I’d start by diving deeper into research. First, I’d identify key challenges Early Hour Entertainment needs to address, such as making the talent discovery process seamless for casting directors and industry professionals. I’d focus on understanding the problems our clients are trying to solve and use UX research to uncover and address pain points for both talent and agencies. This approach would be guided by strong storytelling, ensuring that every design decision aligns with the needs and goals of the users.
