27/32 – Dallas Talons Uniforms
Behind the Stitches
The Dallas Talons sport a sharp-looking uniform set.
The silver shelled helmet is paired with a navy facemask. Two stripes run down the center, starting from the back and tapering to a point right above the crown. The primary five-pointed star is spotlighted on either side, with the front and back bumpers featuring "Dallas" and "Talons" wordmarks respectively.
The Talons have a navy and white base options for the jersey tops. Each top has a sharp shoulder stripe that begins at the collarbone and terminates on the back nameplate, tapering at both ends. On the navy set, this stripe is silver and on the white set, this stripe is navy and paired with a navy collar. The "Talons" wordmark is implemented just below it at center chest.
When it comes to the pants, Dallas incorporates identical striping as the helmet, running the length of the leg and tapering towards the hip on navy, white, and silver base color options. Just above the stripe tapering is the same primary five-pointed star logo.
Dallas' jersey number set borrows some traits from the wordmarks (namely the typographic style save for the angle and additional adornments) but in a more condensed footprint. It incorporates a visual rhythm of the northeast and southwest corners of each letterform are rounded-off while the northwest and southeast corners are squared. This creates a series of hooks and points that allude to subtle talon-like characteristics.
These mockups were made with a modified and retextured Madden 20 on PC. The in-game screenshots were then used to create a composition in Photoshop.
