MASTERING THE 12 PRINCIPLES OF ANIMATION

During my study of the 12 principles of animation, I thoroughly explored and mastered each of these key aspects that make animation more expressive and natural. I began with the basics, such as squash and stretch, to add realism to movements. I then learned to create anticipation before the main action and used staging to present actions clearly.

I also mastered techniques like straight-ahead action and pose-to-pose, which help in creating smooth and coherent animations. The principles of easing and arcs were crucial for ensuring natural movements, while secondary actions and proper timing added detail and enhanced the overall motion.

Studying exaggeration helped me emphasize the expressiveness of the animation, and personality and charm made the characters and actions more engaging for viewers. This learning process greatly expanded my animation skills and enabled me to create higher-quality, more expressive animations.
