Bewilder T-shirt Illustration

What do dreams look like? What does the fear of those dreams look like? Is it attainable? Is it a pipe dream? Is it coming at you full force?

Those were some of the big questions I had to ask myself when participating in Raw Paw's annual T-shirt design challenge this year. It's a challenge that is equal parts design and marketing.

For myself I wanted to create something that was both personal but also very relatable to other designers and creatives. The desire to go after you're dreams with the ever present fear of rejection or failure - they walk with one another, that's the price/risk we all have to face with putting ourselves out there.

To show this, I chose to make a wolf of fire (for Fire Sprung, my dream) one that you can't tell if it's friendly or not but coming at you all the same. Slowly disintegrating into ash (the skull) and swirling into cosmic nothingness.
