Redesign of Influencer Business Profile

Assignment: Redesign the profile screen of an undisclosed app

Conducted in-depth research on the marketer user archetype, followed by a design audit to identify problems and opportunities. Benchmarked profiles, wireframed, and refined the metadata to eliminate unnecessary elements and add essential ones, leading to the final visual design.

Existing VS New Design

About the final design

I moved forward with this design iteration as information bucketized with respect to the individual social media platform of an influencer makes the data (analytics) undiluted and stand out wherever required.

  1. Enhanced the scannability of information using visuals such as icons, colors, and logos.

  2. Established a visual hierarchy based on the relevance of information to marketers, aiding in faster decision-making.

  3. Applied Jakob’s Law by referencing established brands to ensure the design is relatable and easy to learn.

  4. Displayed sufficient data (analytics and recent work) to bridge the knowledge gap for marketers before they make a decision.

  5. Incorporated social proof through ratings and past collaborations to build trust with marketers.

  6. Considered influencers' interests by allowing them control and freedom to personalize their bio and interests.
