The Warren Blue Devils believes in using training and competition to build character and confidence in its high school student athletes.
Identified Problem
Warren Township currently has a mascot logo that is not just outdated, but feels very cartoony and childish which does not represent the highly competitive and storied athletic program of Warren Township. This has led to the school all but abandoning the mark altogether which left the door open for people to create different versions unofficially with no cohesion.
Approved Solution
Created a cohesive visual identity that would help eliminate the need for people to create different versions by designing a spirit mark that is strong aesthetically, versatile, professional and exudes confidence. The secondary spirt mark was created to help replace the current “smurf, cartoony” mascot with a more serious and intimidating blue devil front facing head. It was important to create a visual brand that could be used across all athletic programs for years to come.
