Our client, a youth travel agency specializing in beach gateways, approached us to create a brand identity that would resonate with their target audience: young, adventurous travelers. The challenge was to develop a logo and brand identity that captured the spirit of fun, youth, and adventure, while also conveying a sense of trust and reliability.
📣Business Name: Hippos on Holiday
We chose the name "Hippos on Holiday" to evoke a sense of fun, youth, and camaraderie. Hippos are known for their social nature, often seen in groups, which aligns with the target audience of friend groups. The word "holiday" suggests relaxation, enjoyment, and adventure, all of which are key elements of a beach getaway.

To address the client's needs, we developed a brand identity that was both playful and professional. We focused on creating a logo that was visually appealing, memorable, and aligned with the brand's personality.

Logo: We created a logo featuring a cute hippo wearing sunglasses, combined with the letter "O" from the word "Hippos." This playful and memorable design immediately conveys the brand's youthful and fun-loving personality.
Color Palette: We used a color palette consisting of dark blue (#2c378d), light blue (#49c7f0), and white. This color combination conveys trust, reliability, and professionalism, while also incorporating elements of hope, optimism, and youthfulness.
Typography: We chose the Lostina Regular font for its clean, modern lines and geometric shapes. This font conveys a sense of modernity, professionalism, and clarity, while also adding a touch of fun and approachability.
By combining these elements, we created a brand identity that effectively captures the spirit of "Hippos on Holiday" and resonates with the target audience.
