International Rescue Committee

In 2017, as a student at Mograph Mentor, I undertook a passion project for the International Rescue Committee. This short film, crafted over a period of 12 weeks, focuses on the significance of family and home in a refugee's life. The project allowed me to explore various facets of storytelling and animation, from concept development to the final animated piece.

As the sole creator, I was responsible for every stage of the production process:

- Concept Development: I developed the initial concept, focusing on the poignant themes of family and home within the refugee experience.

- Storyboarding and Design: I meticulously crafted storyboards to visualize the narrative, ensuring each scene conveyed the intended emotion and message. The design phase involved creating detailed illustrations that would form the basis of the animation.

- Animation: Utilizing After Effects, I brought the illustrations to life through animation. This phase included intricate rotoscoping techniques to add depth and realism to the scenes.
