Developer Essentials Kit

We all have unique skills to contribute, and it's essential to understand how these diverse abilities can help push boundaries.

In preparation for our annual .local event in NYC (MongoDB .local series FY25), our team designed the Developer Essentials Kit to bring visibility to all types of developers, highlighting their each of their skills and passions.

Using a blend of our brand shapes and existing .local lexicons, we ideated 6 developer archetypes and represented them using anthropomorphic designs to symbolize different team roles. These lexicons are intended to build into highly stylized patterns, subtly conveying that each piece is essential to creating the the bigger picture.
