26/32 – Wichita Flyers Uniforms
Behind the Stitches
Wichita flies high with these classically-styled threads.
The Flyers have a green-shelled helmet with a black facemask. The primary winged-W logo is on both sides of the helmet with the "Wichita" wordmark in green on the front bumper and the "Flyers" wordmark in black on the back bumper.
For the jersey tops, the Flyers have green, white, and black options. This team incorporates true shoulder stripes that begin at the collarbone and end at the bottom seam of the back nameplate. On the green set, these stripes follow a black-green-black pattern that is reversed on the black set and untouched on the white set. With the stripes occupying the shoulders, the TV numbers have been delegated to the sleeves.
Wichita has pants of matching base colors to pair with the jersey tops on green, white, and black. This time, the stripes that follow the length of each leg mirror the stroke and fill of the jersey numbers. Additionally, the Flyers have green and black sock options with horizontal striping that reflects the shoulders of the corresponding jersey base color.
The jersey number set for Wichita follows the same style as the team wordmarks – a modified version of Futura Display (a typeface that debuted in the 1930s around the same time as the emergence of Wichita's aviation industry) – but with modifications to better suit the proportions of the jersey top.
These mockups were made with a modified and retextured Madden 20 on PC. The in-game screenshots were then used to create a composition in Photoshop.
