David Crosby & Snarky Puppy

In 2018, I had the unique opportunity to film a performance by David Crosby & Snarky Puppy at the Granada Theater. For this project, I experimented with a creative camera technique known as freelensing or lens whacking, which involves detaching the lens from the camera body and holding it at various angles. This method creates intriguing blur effects and tilt-shift visuals, adding a surreal quality to the footage.

- Innovative Camera Technique: Freelensing gave the video a dynamic look with a shallow depth of field and tilt-shift effects, making the visuals particularly striking and atmospheric.

- Audience Perspective: Additionally, I employed another filming strategy by capturing the audience's reactions, emphasizing the emotional impact of the performance and how the viewers were engaging with the music.

This project allowed me to explore new filming techniques and provided a unique visual experience that enhanced the overall narrative of the live performance.
