Onda Cultural is a company dedicated to democratizing access and producing relevant, high-quality books and content. With a multifaceted operation, the company is not limited to the editorial segment, but also promotes cultural and artistic projects in various areas.

To create the Onda Cultural brand, we were inspired by the anatomy of waves, phenomena that propagate in time and space carrying energy, such as electromagnetic waves, sound waves and vibrations. In addition to the wave design, we used references from typographic brands and the editorial segment to evaluate the visual efficiency of the graphic elements. The focus of the identity project was to represent a brand that expressed movement, continuity and flexibility of application.

Atobá created a typographic brand for the company with a solid font and smooth curves, representing the wave in a subtle and intelligent dialogue with its customers, readers. The letter "O" floats on the waves, representing readers' guidance through different literary worlds and will be used as a graphic symbol in signatures of small spaces, such as book spines. The brand's colors were chosen to convey different sensations: shades of blue represent the sea, in addition to the calm and tranquility associated with reading, while orange symbolizes the creativity and energy of the content disseminated. These contrasting colors emphasize the idea that reading expands dialogue in conversations, discussions and actions.

The project resulted in the delivery of a basic Visual Identity Manual, which includes the brand and its variations, typographic family, color palette, reduction and margin guidelines, versions for different backgrounds and applications in books, Instagram posts and bookmarks . In addition to the manual, the brand was supplied in different formats, allowing the customer a wide range of applications.
