LOGO | wedding mark

After spending what felt like ages playing around with a thousand different ideas for our wedding materials, I finally got into a good flow a few weeks ago and developed this mark (and more!) for our wedding.

The stamp that I previously designed was a bit too bold to use in a lot of applications so I wanted to come up with something a bit more versatile and refined but still spoke to who Aaron and I are as a couple. When you mix that with the fact that we're having a beer-themed "destination wedding" (though Milwaukee is practically in Chicago's backyard), and "Meet us in Milwaukee" is born.

Who needs a crazy/cheesy jumble of names that gets #madeintoahashtag as the center of the wedding activities, anyway? We just want our loved ones to meet us in the city that we've come to love, enjoy a pint, and celebrate our excitement with us. It's as simple as that :)

Now it's off to get my stamp on! ;)
