AIS Chat Log UI Redesign - Improving User Experience

Challenge :

The previous design of the AIS Chat Log Screen had several limitations that affected user productivity and satisfaction:

Lack of Detailed Information:

There is no detailed information about the chat for example, chat status, last activity, no proper tag and note for the chat.

Difficulty in Managing Logs from Multiple Channels:

Managing chat logs from different platforms like WhatsApp and Telegram was cumbersome due to separate views for each platform.

No Indicators for New Logs:

There was no clear visual cue for new logs, leading to the risk of missing important updates.

Indicator/Badge on New Log:

Users can quickly spot new messages and logs, significantly reducing the chances of missing critical updates and improving response times.

More Detailed Chat Information:

With additional information available directly within the chat log, users save time and gain better context for each conversation, leading to more informed and efficient interactions.

Unified Chat Logs with Filtering:

The ability to manage and filter chat logs from different platforms in one place streamlines the user’s workflow, eliminating the need to switch page and reducing cognitive load.
