PixelBean

Working on a site for my freelance work. It's super fun to explore and get creative outside of my comfort zone. It's pretty cathartic, actually!
The reasoning behind "PixelBean" is two-fold: the first component is the most obvious: design and pixels are synonymous. We use and manipulate pixels every day --the pixel is the cell and the output is the organism.
The second, "Bean" is a bit of a metaphor. I get a rush out of staying up late and working. It's a side effect of loving what I do and I often find myself fueling those nights with -- you guessed it: coffee. So the coffee bean represents hard work, passion, dedication, and energy toward doing what I love: designing.
Hopefully the concept translates well :)
