SCUF Champs 2024

Role: Art Director, Lead Designer

Following SCUF's successful launch of their CDL 2024 Collection in Toronto, the next major event for their brand would be to showcase a limited edition drop at the Call of Duty League Championship tournament in Texas.

For this request, an on-site activation in the form of an event booth would need to be created for guests to engage with the SCUF brand. Carrying over the visual identity system created for their Major III event was crucial, as the guests at the Champs tournament would recognize and identify with the visual branding already presented to them at Major III.

Apparel Keepsake

In addition to the on-site booth activation, the additional request for an apparel piece was included in the overall deliverables for this project.

The inspiration for the final version came from the deconstruction of the Championship trophy, turned into an abstract crown. A skull illustration placed with this crown would pay homage to Call of Duty's iconic Ghost operator.

In addition, the introduction of a glitch texture calls to the look and feel from the upcoming Call of Duty game, Black Ops 6. Therefore, this design would not only draw inspiration from the Champs event where this shirt would be featured, but also integrate its visuals into the world of COD as a whole.
