Subway Ad for Sunday: A Jazz & Cocktail Club

In 2023, I undertook the comprehensive rebranding of Sunday, a jazz and cocktail club that embodies the spirit of a vintage speakeasy within a modern cocktail bar setting. My project scope included naming, brand strategy, brand creation, brand identity, package design, marketing and advertising graphic design, copywriting, and print collateral. The deliverables encompassed a menu, coasters, souvenir shot glasses, an event poster, and a subway ad.

Sunday caters to both beverage enthusiasts and jazz aficionados, offering a space for art lovers and artists in both culinary and musical arts to embrace the rhythm and soul of jazz while enjoying well-crafted drinks and bar snacks. The rebrand aimed to infuse the brand with depth, clear strategy, and customer personas, addressing the previous iteration's lack of direction and uninspiring design elements.

In rebranding Sunday, I explored new color palettes to achieve a balance between boldness and vintage charm. The copywriting process, a new venture for me, involved creating engaging romance copy inspired by jazz and speakeasy vibes. This comprehensive approach allowed me to refine Sunday's brand core, targeting an audience of art, culture, and music aficionados aged 30-65+. The design style is sophisticated, playful, relaxed, modern, with a hint of vintage, aiming to attract more customers and increase show bookings.
