Klik - The school's knowledge network
You hear it often enough: The role of the school is changing. Teachers are no longer just broadcasting knowledge but ensuring that students seek that knowledge themselves. There is also a huge opportunity to have the school's network, consisting of parents, alumni and local businesses, contribute to education. But how do we connect students' curiosity to the knowledge and ability in the school's network?
Community-based Learning.
What began as a request from an enthusiastic parent who wanted to contribute more to her children's education slowly grew into a new form of education. Within community-based learning, we allow the school's network to make a positive contribution to education. As a result, students learn in the real world, are introduced to new fields of work and are inspired by their surroundings.
So how do you make that Klik?
To activate students and teachers to collaborate with the network, we created, in collaboration with Stichting Technasium, the Klik platform. Here we connect all knowledge, expertise and interests from the network to pressing questions and challenging projects. All this in a safe and accessible way.
Humanity + technology.
You are not supposed to replace a human experience with technology, but you can enhance it. The Klik platform helps make connections, but does not get in the way of human collaboration. This makes network collaboration not only easier, but also safer and less time-consuming.
