See trough - Experience circuit diversity and inclusion

Fontys' lectorate Valuing Diversity is working hard for inclusion in education. With the perception circuit "See through" they want to make teachers aware of (unconscious) prejudices and acting on them. This circuit makes people aware of their own attitudes, beliefs and stereotypical thinking.

Professionalizing teacher teams

The circuit is the start of a team professionalization of three meetings, in which participants will develop something for their own context using the principles of design thinking. The goals are awareness and knowledge of the processes involved in adapting to diversity and developing tools aimed at professionalizing themselves and colleagues. The ultimate goal is for every student to feel welcome and valued.

From training tool to scalable product

In addition to the training set, we developed the tools into a compact version that can be used independently by teachers without losing quality and interaction. With this scalable set, even more people can be introduced to the See Through circuit. We produce this light version in-house and it can be purchased from the lectureship.
