#YouToo? - Make sexual abuse open for discussion

The threshold for victims of sexual abuse to ask for help must be lowered. With the project #YouToo? social design studio Anne Ligtenberg and the aid organization Blauwe Maan have joined forces to increase the ability of social workers to make sexual abuse negotiable. To this end, the collective knowledge of victims and experienced social workers is being used. #YouToo? is a growing knowledge platform with tips and advice for social workers from people with experience, experts by experience and experienced social workers to learn from each other how to make sexual abuse negotiable.

#YouToo? is for any social worker who could potentially come into contact with a victim of sexual abuse. The multi-disciplinary approach of #YouToo? allows everyone to learn from each other. From social workers to physical therapists, psychologists to midwives and teachers to doctors. After all, the hesitation to act has to come down, and victims deserve a helping hand from all of us.
