Children story book illustration project

Happy to share an illustration I'd been working on for a children book project. It was a fun and exciting process, from drawing out the character to illustrating the scenes and layouts for the book along with drawing varying, delicious food items to capture the interest of the children of age group 2-8 years old. The process took a great deal of time, effort and dedication created entirely in procreate. My personal favourite part of the story from all the scenes I have created were the food illustrations portraying our desi traditional food items. Truly a fun process.

This story gave me a chance to explore and experiment with different illustration techniques, for which I used procreate. I have utilized different sketching, painting and coloring brushes of procreate and blending techniques to add a hand drawn and hand painted feel to each illustration in order to add a great deal of warmth paying extra attention to detail I have also added a certain amount of textures to every piece.
