Alan Turing in TouchDesigner

Pretty amazing reading about the life and work of Alan Turing. One thing that always fascinated me was his work into mathematical pattern generation which is now commonly called Reaction Diffusion or Turing patterns. I had the simple idea of using Blender and Touchdesigner to create a portrait of Alan Turing using Turing patterns. All of these animations you can see here are created using Touchdesigner. First I illustrated a realistic Black and White hi-res portrait of Turing using Photoshop then inputted the picture into Touchdesigner, where I then created a feedback reaction diffusion loop. Then played around with the noise and feedback settings create all these different growing and bleeding out animations.
