Solar panel advert

A short solar video

This advert was a short realistic video showcasing

the sleekness and durability of the panels particularly.

First I modelled the panels!

And the roof

Onto the scene

Scene one

In these scenes, there is a clear use of seasons to emphasise the passage of time. This scene is more of a summer environment especially with the fresher and greener leaves in the background. Throughout the whole video there was no camera movement at all because I felt that it would distract from the story and I think it turned out okay. The only camera movement that might add to this kind of video might be a slow zoom in or out which could be a consideration for next time.

Scene two

In scene two and three, there is a huge change in environment with everything from the darkened clouds, lighting and even wind. One thing I should have done was add some wildly blowing twigs and leaves in the wind (which for some reason wasn't a thought I had at all) which would have further highlighted the change in mood.

Scene five

The final scene is very reminiscent of the first scene bringing us back to that sunny environment. The now Autumn environment followed by a period of dark and gloomy scenes was done deliberately to really bring home the message of durability along with the ending phrase "Built to last". Alongside this the contrasting scene matches well with the background music which I think ties off the video nicely.
