Beekeeping Buckslip - OSU

A tear-pad mini flyer designed to promote OSU's Introduction to Beekeeping course. Over 3800 copies were printed and distributed.

Given the course's focus on beekeeping basics, I decided to integrate a simple yet elegant bee motif into the design of the marketing materials. This bee design not only infused a sense of charm and coherence into the promotional items but also served to reinforce the course's theme. The bee appears to flutter around the title text on the tear-pad buck slips.

To maintain alignment with OSU's brand standards, I incorporated the university's signature orange into the design while keeping the overall aesthetic minimal and clean. This approach ensured that the call to action remained prominent, with the bee motif serving as a focal point to capture attention and engagement.

In addition to an earlier project that included a tabletop and roll-up banner and a set of beekeeping toolkit graphics, a total of 5500 print and design marketing materials were produced and distributed. This comprehensive campaign has yielded impressive results, with 138 individuals enrolled in the bee course so far, including 128 from the general public and 10 from OSU staff. Furthermore, 68 aspiring beekeepers have completed the course, marking the marketing campaign as a significant success.

Feedback from program educators indicates that the materials were well received, with the marketing toolkit and promotional items proving to be effective in driving enrollment.
