Liquidity is a significant issue for decentralized exchanges because it is too difficult to find enough people willing to be a party to trading pairs. So how can we overcome this liquidity problem without involving intermediaries? The solution came with the concept of the AMM Trade application. An improvement over traditional off-chain and on-chain order books, AMM is a protocol for trading on decentralized exchanges.
