VABALAS Wordmark Design / Brand Identity

We are working on artistic clay decor company called "VABALAS". Translated from Lithuanian language "VABALAS" means "Bug" not any kind of bug, but VABALAS is associated with may bug.

We want to bring authenticity to this company with unique approach towards it's identity.

Here is first draft of logotype wordmark. The concept feature wide letterforms and unique letter-marks "a". A is design to show bugs wide wings to show ability of flying above the ground while it also resembles may bugs footprints that may bug leaves behind when being on the ground.

So the connection is creating artful wall decor from natural clay materials while imagine a higher idea.
