Short earphone video
With a highly realistic environment and some swanky
music, the video gives the affect of a late summers afternoon
First I modelled the earphones!
And case...
Onto some of the scenes
Scene one
In this scene the bright red mug draws attention almost instantly due to its contrast with the beige colours surrounding it. The focus then switches to the earphones as the depth of field changes, blurring the background.
Scene two
This scene is a top down view of the same objects in the last scene. The bright red of the cup really worked well with rich brown texture of the table and coffee, giving this scene its own popping flavour.
Scene three
The third scene is more natural one especially with saturated green leaves against the dark ebony wall. However, If I could change one thing, it would be the level of light reflected off of the case and with more time would have animated the leaves to move in the breeze more realistically.
Scene five
This scene was a much quicker one to set up due to the lack of elements. However, despite this the water and pool floor split up the frame well and the top down view complements the second scene.
Scene seven
The final skate park scene gives the video a nice ending especially with the evening sky and environment. This scene took the longest to set up and get right due to background buildings but in the end fits well with the summer vibe of the video. The only things I would change about this scene might be the lighting on the ear phones specifically and the match cut from the previous scene which was unnecessary and could have been a simple cut.
