Border Wars Mascot

I recently had the opportunity to work on the mascot for Border Wars, a local Floridian golf tournament where community members face off against out-of-towners.  🦀🏌️‍♂️

The brief was to create a Florida Stone Crab mascot holding a drink and cigar, and after some brainstorming, these two designs made the cut.

The event lock-up was purposely made inferior to the mascot, although I still made sure the type was treated with consideration too. I decided upon this awesome font I found on AdobeFonts called Megazoid, which is full of character and personality.

I am hoping to get some photos of the merchandise in the future.
