The Vivian Beaumont

This is one tiny part of a really big personal project I've been playing around with for a while.

I had the idea to illustrate in a flat style all 40 theatres that currently make up Broadway. The architecture of each is so unique and so much attention is (deservedly, of course) spent on what goes on on the inside, that I thought this might be a neat way to pay homage.

The VB (you're allowed to nickname buildings when you draw them) is particularly interesting because it's so completely different from the rest of them! I debated forever about including the Henry Moore sculpture in the reflecting pool and the Juilliard lawn off to the side, but in effort to match somewhat to the others, I left them out.
