The Idea

The idea came to me while doing the yearly re-watch of the show, and realizing that Sokka called Zuko an "angry freak with the ponytail". From there, I kept a running list of all the different names the characters are called throughout the show. I initially started with the idea to make identification cards (like, driver's licenses) for the characters, but the initial design just wasn't hitting the mark (see below) I had in my head. Then, while browsing Pinterest for inspiration, I came across Pokemon cards and vintage baseball trading cards. From there, the idea was born. I'm very proud of this series, though I still have my work cut out for me to design the backing of the cards. Stay tuned!
