"The Lute Player" - Homage art

This piece is a tribute to Dutch master Frans Hals, "The Lute Player".

Naturally with my own little twist 😉 as I almost exclusively draw women...

I love the way the expressions of people always have something candid about them, instead of the character taking the pose, in Renaissance Dutch art, it delightfully feels like a slice out of life.
