Seven down Eight up - mark sketches

I bought a Daruma doll to use to keep me focused on a goal I set for the year. When I researched the dolls I came across a line that stuck with me. “‘Nanakorobi Yaoki’, translated to mean ‘seven times down, eight times up’”. It inspired me to create a mark that would remind me to get back up when knocked down.
