AVS is a private law organization governed by the 1901 law (non-profit) created in 1991 and whose purpose is Halal control and certification. The certification and control activity is a demanding activity when it is done seriously and conscientiously. AVS is today more than a hundred employees, 80% of whom are exclusively assigned to control tasks. It is also around thirty people who, from our head office in Saint-Denis (Paris region), are responsible for administrative, technical and accounting monitoring.
