Lady Lampshade

This was for a Surrealist art project I did in high school. I did this drawing in colored pencil and it was my first time doing this medium on a large scale. So this is cleary not a fantastic start as it seems but still I did my best effort nonetheless. My idea here for surrealism was Lady Lampshade. It might not sound the most surreal, but that's what I had in mind for this project. Her gown is, of course, a lampshade. So very much of a creative choice. In fact, this might be a great idea for fashion. Gowns in the style of lampshades. The execution of the drawing, especially the coloring and lighting, could've been a little a better but overall, this was my first time doing colored pencil on a large scale project and I certainly got better ever since.
