Selected Readings From Contemporary Issues in Art - Book Design

This book was created as a final project for Contemporary Issues in Art, taught by Professor Ishii-Bear, in the fall of 2023. The parameters of the assignment were to create an artwork that connected back to what the class went over in some way. Due to my love of book-making and publishing design, I chose to use a few of the required readings from across the semester and design a book around them. The style and colors are inspired by my own note-taking for this class. My goal for this particular project was to create something fun and visually interesting since most art-related books are often dry and look intimidating.
