USTA | Design System & Digital Ecosystem
As the Creative Lead in UX and Design at the United States Tennis Association (USTA), I oversaw a team of designers and researchers to create and unite the USTA Ecosystem. During my tenure, I implemented an agile system to develop a large-scale website, USTA.com. This process involved developing a design system that served as "one source of truth" between developers and stakeholders. The USTA.com website was designed to provide a seamless user experience for tennis enthusiasts, players, and fans.
Website
During my tenure at the USTA, I collaborated with multiple stakeholders to identify the critical pages and complex areas linked with membership sign-up. At that time, we were encountering a substantial decline in membership sign-ups, and our main goal was to resolve the issue and augment membership.
After developing and testing wireframes, we created a series of template pages for use throughout the USTA ecosystem. Additionally, we designed pages that simplified the sign-in process and introduced more user-friendly account screens, which proved highly effective.
Design System
Working with the Invision Design System Manager, the UX/Dev team created a design system to be used as "one source of truth," which helped manage the brand's consistency while cutting down development time.
