Visual Identity for Inclusive Yoga Studio
An identity that evokes calmness, inclusivity and stands out from the crowd.
Keen to steer clear of the traditional and cliche metaphors such as balancing rocks, flowering plants or ying and yang symbolism, Hannah reached out looking for a visual identity for her new Yoga Studio that captured the essence of her practice. Hannah's accessible classes are held in unpretentious public spaces, such as church halls and libraries, and her intent is to provide yoga and general medatitive self care to those less inclined to seek it out.
A simple colour palette
Designed to evoke calmness and nod to the brand's Scottish roots, the 3 part colour scheme is versatile and easy to implement across all brand touchpoints.
Joyful logomark
‘Playful’ and ‘full of joy’ were words that the client used to describe their services. After examining their competitors, these feelings were differentiators that I wanted to make use of.
Designed to have a feeling of playful movement, the logomark takes on the form of a person with outstretched arms, forming the letter H. The logomark is deliberately minimal to allow it to be interpreted as anyone, representing her diverse range of yogis who attend her classes.
