Higher that the sun | Isometric artwork
Hey, Guys!
This conceptual isometric-style artwork is inspired by the song 'Someone like you' by the Russian singer Sergey Lazarev.
The song includes these lines:
Someone like you can take my heart
And leave me broken on the floor,
Someone like you can make me feel
Higher than the sun
With this artwork, I wanted to show that sometimes hyperfixation on an artist (love for an idol) can give more confidence and motivation, creating new goals and aspirations. The girl is sitting on the floor on a rug shaped like the profile of her favorite artist (Sergey Lazarev) and looking at the screen of her laptop. She might be working on a project at the moment. Skyscrapers are visible outside the window, presumably New York, the city of opportunities, and her window is above the rooftops of the skyscrapers, as if she is moving higher and higher, like climbing a career ladder. The girl's room is filled with various items: a keytar (an electronic keyboard shaped like a guitar), papers with graphs (possibly articles), an easel with a painting, books — all of which indicate that the girl has many hobbies and is willing to work hard to excel in each of the fields she is passionate about.
