Entry Cabinet at Red Rocks
I had an opportunity to design an entry cabinet for the prestigious Red Rocks Amphitheater Visitors Center. The cabinet was thoughtfully designed for the entryway to provide the hostess with a convenient storage solution for items such as menus while also serving as an information hub for details about the park, the restaurant, and upcoming concerts.
Measuring 36 inches in height, 18 inches in depth, and 38 inches in width, the walnut cabinet features doors adorned with a geometric grid pattern, which I have successfully incorporated into several previous projects. The center panel is crafted from patinated steel.
Each time I patinate steel, the resulting color and pattern are unique. Over the years, I have developed techniques to influence the patterns and hues, yet nature ultimately creates a distinctive, one-of-a-kind piece with each application.
