There is nothing more satisfying than wrapping up a semantic tokens list. Period.

And as a 'Design System Designer' I got a lot to do with tokens, so making them smart, accessible, and understandable is my daily job.

Why you should start using tokens?

Design tokens are the future of design systems, so the sooner we all switch to them, the better our "digital product design" world will become.

Here are the top benefits that should convince anyone:

1. One token list to rule them all

   Forget about 20 random hex values for a gray split alongside the whole product. Now, prepare a single list of semantic tokens and reuse them forever.

2. Prepare color modes in a flash

   Never again wonder how to theme your components or add dark mode support after the release, with tokens that job is a 5-minute thing.

3. Sync design with development

   Tokens work exactly the same on design and development side, so they are a perfect opportunity to create a common language for everyone, everywhere.
