Advertising Campaign UWatcher
1. Campaign Objective
Increase the number of downloads for the UWatcher extension and app from the Chrome Web Store and Google Play.
2. Campaign Type
Google Search Campaign: Text ads appear in search results when users search for phrases related to streaming platforms, series, movies, etc.
Display Campaign: Google ads for UWatcher shown on websites related to entertainment and technology.
YouTube Campaign: Video ads displayed before YouTube videos, targeting users interested in movie and series-related content.
As a graphic designer, I participated in a campaign where we created these Google Ads banners. The primary goal of this campaign was to increase the number of downloads for the UWatcher app from the Chrome Web Store.
We tested the effectiveness of these banners using A/B testing with different slogans. This method involved creating multiple versions of the banners, each with a unique headline or call-to-action text, and then distributing them to a segment of the target audience. By analyzing which version garnered more clicks and conversions, we could identify the most compelling message for driving app downloads.
The banners themselves featured a consistent visual design to maintain brand coherence while varying the text to find the optimal wording. This approach ensured that the visuals supported the message and that any changes in performance could be attributed to textual variations rather than differences in design.
Overall, this strategy allowed us to fine-tune our messaging and maximize the effectiveness of our advertising spend, ultimately driving more downloads of the UWatcher extension.
