Day 05: Edit Menu
Day 5 of my UI challenge.
I'm a day late here, but whatever. Our office was broken into last night which kinda screwed a lot of things up today as I spent most of the day changing passwords and implementing my own personal safeguards. While I never really thought that someone would have the callous to break into our office, I suppose it happens.
Anyways, for this project I wanted to prototype a contextual edit menu—like one you might find on iOS or Medium.com. I didn't bother to investigate prototyping a drag gesture here, to stimulate a highlight event, though I suppose it could work. Instead I simply tweened objects from one Principle artboard, to the next.
I'm really enjoying the speed in which I can prototype using Principle. It has some limitations, yet it's fast, fast, fast—and for so many reasons.
Going forwards I think I'll be prototyping each project in Principle. If you haven't checked it out, I'd encourage you to do so here.
I've attached my source file as well.
