Making the logo

For the NutriSearch logo, I drew inspiration from two fundamental concepts that define the app's purpose: search and nutrition. The magnifying glass represents the core functionality of our app—searchability, allowing users to easily find detailed nutritional information. The green leaf symbolizes our focus on nutrition and health, underscoring the app’s dedication to promoting a healthy lifestyle.

These two icons served as the foundational elements in the development of the NutriSearch logo, guiding the visual synthesis that blends search and nutrition into one cohesive design.

Transitioning from concept to completion, the NutriSearch logo's design evolved by creatively utilizing negative space. I merged the iconography of the leaf and the magnifying glass into a single, cohesive image. The final design features a filled circle, reminiscent of a magnifying glass, from which the shape of the leaf is carved out using negative space. This technique not only integrates the two foundational themes—searchability and nutrition—but also creates a visually striking and memorable logo. The use of negative space emphasizes the dual nature of the app, seamlessly combining elements of discovery and health in a simple yet elegant design.
