Mission Kids

This was a brand for a child advocacy center: Mission Kids. They specialize in helping children of abuse get the help they need, and begin to heal. The idea came out of Mission Kids being light in the dark in children's lives. The company is based out of Pennsylvania, and Pennsylvania's state bug is a firefly. I combined the M + K to form the wings of the firefly. In the end, it made a perfect symbol for this concept of light in the dark, while embodying childhood innocence, and being something friendly and approachable for children who interact with Mission Kids.
