Antonio Vivaldi (1678-1741) was an Italian Baroque composer, virtuoso violinist, teacher, and cleric. He is best known for his instrumental compositions, especially his numerous violin concertos, including „The Four Seasons,“ which is one of the most popular and frequently performed works in the classical repertoire.

Vivaldi’s music is characterized by its lively rhythms, expressive melodies, and inventive use of harmony and instrumental color.
